Inaugural meeting of Plumstead and Woolwich Rail Users’ Group on Monday 2nd September

Plumstead and Woolwich Rail Users’ Group (PAWRUG) will hold its first meeting on Monday 2nd September at the Woolwich Centre Library from 6.30 – 7.30pm. All are welcome.

The purpose of the meeting will be to explain the function of a Rail Users’ Group, set out aims and discuss current consultations. Guest speakers will include:

  • Roger Blake, Railfuture Vice-Chair, London and South East Division
  • Chris Fribbins, Railfuture Convener, Kent Division

A representative from Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) has also been invited with regard to the current Passenger Benefit Fund consultation, which now expires on 31st August due to the reopening of the consultation period following the intervention of MP Matthew Pennycook.
